WATER THERAPEUTIC FEATURES

Healing water in Laktaši Spa has been known for its curative nature and positive effects on human health and wellbeing ever since the ancient times. Material evidences unambiguously refer that it had been used in Roman times. Spa water is used for the healing of locomotors’ systems diseases and cardiovascular diseases, eye diseases, nervous disorders, for treatment of geriatric diseases, s well as for recreation and tourist purposes. Water is clear, colourless, flavourless and sediment less, having slight gas bubbles. Contemporary development of spa begins in 1930, and numerous of expert institutes have conducted scientific researches on water quality, while the latest analyses were conducted in 2001 by the Institute for Rehabilitation from Belgrade.

Therapeutic water of Laktaši Spa is classified to the category of warm hydro-carbonate calcium magnesium, carbonic acid oligomineral homeo-thermal waters, having temperature of 30-40C.
In anion-cation content, calcium and magnesium ions prevail, as well as hydro-carbonate ions. The quantity of solute carbon dioxide (CO2), amounting to 1.25 g/l, provides additional quality of the water.
Due to all above-mentioned qualities, the water is used for balneotherapy, as a secondary therapeutic medium. For this purpose, bathing (in bathtubs and swimming pool), massages and drinking are recommended. In addition, Laktaši Spa offers you all other types of physiotherapies.

INDICATIONS FOR USAGE BY DRINKING

Pouring and drinking of mineral water is completely free of charge.
Drinking of healing water has a salutary influence on patients with the following diseases:

1. Chronic gastritis and duodenitis
2. Functional stomach and intestinal disorders
3. Chronic acalculous cholecystitis
4. State after cholecystectomy
5. Biliary dyskinesia
6. Kidney and urinary system diseases (microurolithiasis, state after removal of stone from urinary system, chronic cystitis

INDICATIONS FOR USAGE BY HAVING A BATH

Having a bath in the water contributes to the improvement of the organism state at the following diseases:
